A few equipment examples |
| Grow-ups from a single inoculum use a simple apparatus called a Bug Jug. The Bug Jug is plumbed with an air stone and air line to allow aeration during the growth cycle. |

| Simple PVC assemblies can be used to hold brew and or feed drums where "step-up" growth is required. Dual units can be designed to hold all of the equipment necessary to allow timed inoculum delivery from one drum while cultivation is proceeding in a second drum. |
