Oilfield Bioremediation |
 |
| Activities associated with the production of oil have proven to be important applications for bioremediation. Workers in the oil patch are faced with routine maintenance activities which can benefit from microbial inoculation. |
Our Experience |
 |
| While that first gusher spill may be desirable, most spills are not. Biodyne® has found that its petroleum hydrocarbon blend, ENVIRONOC 101, is especially effective in remediating soils in the well head area. Periodic spraying with ENVIRONOC 101 and mineral nutrients coupled with moderate mixing will reduce contamination levels. |
| Another problem in the oil patch is paraffin. While paraffin is swell on top of the strawberry preserves, excessive buildup of paraffin down hole results in frequent down time to effect clean out. Furthermore, paraffin buildup in the formation may reduce output. Periodic flushing with the ENVIRONOC 101 blend has shown great promise as an economical means of reducing paraffin accumulation.
