Groundwater Bioremediation

In many instances, when there is soil contamination, the contamination may ultimately penetrate into the groundwater.  Several techniques are used to "clean" groundwater depending on the nature of the contaminants.  Since it is usually impossible to pump all of the contaminated groundwater out of the ground, most groundwater treatment techniques attempt to clean the groundwater "on site", that is, in situ.

Our Experience

Strip & Percolate
Biodyne® has been involved in a large number of groundwater bioremediation projects (especially petroleum hydrocarbons) involving a variety of techniques befitting the particular circumstances.  Inoculation with ENVIRONOC® blends has proved both beneficial and economical in these projects. For actual jobs, look in the groundwater projects section.
